Classified was inspired by news reports and photos of classified federal documents strewn on the floor of Mar-a-Lago. Redactions formed an abstract composition that I attempted to replicate in tapestry, using black and white wool exclusively. One document was excessively redacted, leaving only a few lines of text, and served as a model for this tapestry. Classified remains ephemeral as paper and as a tapestry.
